Construction supervision & documentation

The construction supervision and documentation course ensures that construction is carried out in accordance with the plans, regulations and quality standards. The following topics are covered: Quality, schedule, cost and safety control. Seamless documentation with construction reports, photo documentation, lists of defects and acceptances serve to ensure traceability and legal protection.

Topic 1: Fundamentals and legal framework

  • General contract documents

Topic 2: Safety on the construction site

  • Check employee and specialist company qualifications
  • Risk assessment
  • Supplementary protective measures
  • Registrations/SIGEKO/ Sigeplan/TÖBs
  • BG/social security funds/employee ID cards/certificates etc.
  • General notification of start of construction
  • Access routes for all those involved in construction, construction machinery and material deliveries
  • Preservation of evidence
  • Traffic management/safety
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE)

Topic 3: Documentation and monitoring during the construction phase

  • Conformity check Planning / execution

  • Preservation of evidence of surfaces, facilities, equipment, furnishings, design, markings, signage and, if applicable

Topic 4: Damage potential & impact

  • Potential for damage to grid and other systems (due to a mix-up), improper exposure of grid systems
  • Special technical requirements (requirements for disabled access, cityscape design, protective distances to existing infrastructure and structures), requirements for the construction of disabled-accessible facilities and monument protection (stumbling blocks, above and below ground)
  • Restoration of special traffic areas and surfaces (cityscape design, square design, colored asphalt, cycle paths, facilities for the disabled)

Topic 5: Acceptance, rectification and follow-up of defects

  • Acceptance of the service by the client
  • Correction of defects
  • Acceptance of the service by the public authority (TÖB)
