Discover our implementation planning training! This training offers you a hands-on approach to the effective implementation of broadband projects. Our focus is on the critical skills required for success in this area.

The training covers various topics, including the preparation of network planning, careful construction preparation, the creation of a dynamic construction schedule, professional construction supervision and strategic construction controlling.

After completing the course, you will not only have theoretical knowledge, but also practical methods and techniques that will help you to implement broadband projects efficiently and successfully in practice.

Agenda

Topic 1: Fundamentals of implementation planning

  • Working through the results of the design, approval and fiber planning, taking into account all technical
    and legal requirements for pipeline construction with clear routing
  • Evaluation of approval letters from public authorities and utility companies (gas, water, electricity, district heating, etc.)
  • Sensible use and combination of network elements

Topic 2: Preparation of the implementation planning

  • Creation of the schedule (client) and development of the draft construction schedule (contractor)
    based on the feedback from the public interest bodies (TÖB)
  • Detailed elaboration of the instructions for civil engineering, blowing in and cable installation, including an overview of the public authorities involved (contact details)
  • Preparation of detailed construction execution plans (e.g. route plans, pipe plans), if necessary including documentation templates (e.g. line routes and line technical acceptance protocols) of the client and existing line routes
  • Preparation of cable installation plans (blow-in, splice and, if necessary, patch plans)
  • Provision of stakeout plans for the route layout
  • Mass determination for material and services to be performed
  • Planning of the confirmed system locations (POP, GF- KVz and cable ducts)

Topic 3: Basics for the structure and filling of service specifications

  • Types of contract bases (BGB/VOB/VOL)
  • Identify types of tender for subsequent award
